MVP Weekly Report Jan. 18, 2018 and NTP Request 3

Mountain Valley Pipeline has filed its required weekly report to FERC for January 18, 2018. This week’s filing only includes the status report itself, in which MVP indicates that construction has not commenced and the project has not yet received a Notice to Proceed:

MVP Weekly Status Report No. 11 (January 17, 2018)

In addition to the weekly status report, MVP filed a third Request for Notice to Proceed with all construction activities in certain parts of West Virginia on January 17, requesting that FERC issue the Notice by January 19.

The attachment to the request references lay down yards and access roads in Harrison, Doddridge, Braxton, Nicholas, Lewis, Webster, Greenbrier, Summers, and Monroe Counties.

Additionally, the attachment notes that all of the sites listed have received clearance with the State Historic Preservation Office, but makes no indication to compliance with any other conditions set forth by FERC in the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity.

As of this post, FERC has not filed an answer.
