On April 7 from 11-4, POWHR will host a series of community safety trainings, including a deescalation training with Jonathan McRay and Lara Mack and a protest safety training to prepare for #DefundMVP actions in the next few months.

POWHR will provide lunch and childcare. The trainings will take place at the Newport Community Center on the first floor, which is wheelchair accessible.
