Artivism VA will be beginning a new monthly series of community gatherings in EastMont as we continue to organize against the proposed MVP Boost Swann Compressor Station – and for the health and safety of our friends and neighbors in Eastern Montgomery County, VA!

The first Circle of Protection: EastMont will be this Sunday from 2-4PM in Shawsville, VA and will feature music from the excellent Catherine The Great! Catherine is a local songwriter who's shown up for years in the fight against the Mountain Valley Pipeline to keep us both grounded and inspired with her finely crafted original songs. Following the program will be a potluck meal. Please bring a dish to share!

The event will be located at 6905 Roanoke Rd, Shawsville, VA 24162.

In the event of thunderstorms, we will move next door to the Meadowbrook Community Center.
