Artivism VA is continuing the monthly series of community gatherings in Eastmont in support of organizing against the proposed MVP Boost Swann Compressor Station – and for the health and safety of our friends and neighbors in Eastern Montgomery County, VA!

The second Circle of Protection: Eastmont will be on Sunday, August 30th from 2-4PM in Shawsville, VA and will feature music from ARTivism's director, Joshua Vana, and story from longtime MVP & ACP fighter and Eastmont resident Irene Leech.

Following the program will be a potluck meal.

Attendees are encouraged to bring:

• A potluck dish to share!

• Your water bottle

• A comfortable folding / camp chair

And musicians, we're welcoming you to bring your acoustic instruments for an informal old time and country jam during the potluck portion.

The event will be located at 6905 Roanoke Rd, Shawsville, VA 24162. Parking is located on site close to the large pavilion, under which our program and potluck will be taking place.

In the event of thunderstorms, we will notify registered folks beforehand and move next door to the community room at the Meadowbrook Community Center. In the case of moving the event here, parking will be around the back of the community center, and the community room will be accessed through the courtyard entrance.
